Finally got to take our trip to Panama City Florida today. 2 hrs 37 minutes to get there and about 3 hours to return. While I know about most of the new fangled nav and weather systems, I was pretty cool to see them in actual use. Dual GPS radios, dual EFIS, digital altimeters and transponders, Dual HSI display with satellite based weather overlays, ground based weather and collision avoidance unit.
He let me fly it a bit and was suprised by the heavy controls.
I could get used to traveling this way!

Unfortunately we did not have any weather to deal with other than a few minutes in the clouds letting down on the way home. I was hoping to get in some experience in the soup.
