Matt,

i've been running a fabspeed pre muffler with the muffler bypass pipe and no muffler and it is REALLY loud. I drive my car to the track and am afraid to accelerate through my neighborhood. I have received numerous compliments about the way it sounds on the track but it is just too loud if you are going to street it at all. I don't feel like i get any HP boost but that is just my .02 . I think if you do a search on pelican there is somewhat of a concensus that you need to change your chip to gain any real HP with a bypass set up. All this being said if you plan on just using the bypass on the track and re-hooking up the muffler afterwards it does sound awsome.
