Possibly because your playing on the roads holds everyone else up. I have never seen a sportscar hold up traffic.
That's always been the rule hasn't it? Your right to swing your fists ends at my nose? By your theory why can't I ride my go cart or dirt bikes on the street? Why is your hobby special?
Again, I'm not saying that I want them banned from public roads but I think it's a worthy discussion.
