I paid $120 for 3 Bourgeat pans...that comes to $40 a pan. Unless U Boyz buy Wally World Cheapo stuff, any decent pan at a Department store is going to have a comparable cost.

I bought quiet a few pieces of ALL-Clad Stainless and 3 pieces of All-Clad Copper. But that was before the stuff was available at Sammys Club. If the stuff was available at Sammmys Club I woulda bought it there instead of paying the price for the ALL-Clad. However there are a coupla pieces that I woulda bought from All-Clad as they are not available wt the Sammys Set.

As to how much better you can cook by using premium cookware. If your a 7.5 Cook you will be an 8.0 Cook (1-10, 10 being best). It makes U just a little better. You have better control over heat, more uniform heat, and that does make a difference.

I can tell U that with that David Klose Smoker I bought, it is much easier to make premium BBQ with it then it is with a cheaper unit, simply because it is easier to maintain a temperature level, So quality equipment does make a difference

Maybe the point I'm trying to make here is why pay retail for something when if U look, you can buy it much cheaper at an auction.

As for the Meat Slicer, let me get it, play with it and then I'll let you know if I want to sell it. I bought it because I have pretensions of buying chunks of Meat and making deli style sandwichs.. and for $109 plus shipping it was cheap enough to indulge that fantasy.
