Back in my younger (and dumber) days, I loaded 45 cases of milk into my 4x4 Ranger (1800+ lbs) and drove about 60 miles with the load. I was NOT speeding, believe me!
The reserve capacity built into most trucks' load ratings protects most of us from ourselves.
Haul careful, eh!
