I believe that at this time, the Fed reserve under new chairman "Big Ben" will leave interest rates where they are. You see, the big fear to them is inflation. Many here are too young to remember the "misery index" we suffered under during the Carter administration...double digit inflation AND unemployment.
We do NOT want to return to that...
Yes, I know...there is an arguement that "it wasn't Carter's fault". I'm just setting a time frame here...
