Deal was, pre 1975 cars, Norm sets the route. First year we stopped for lunch in Kirkwood via Volcano, overnight at Tahoe Biltmore. We had little cabins which was cool 'cause you were right by the car, and could look out and watch snow fall on it. Drove all the way back to Isleton, meandering all over the delta no stops.
This year we had lunch in Chico first day, Cal Neva overnight. Stop in Quincy for lunch, do the Feather River Canyon run, which IMHO is one of the better ones on this end of the state, back to Sacto. Here is us chasing that sweet bug sh
