Seriously, being an alcoholic has NOTHING to do with smarts, or will....at least not much. For some who are prone to it (like ME but I'm not an alcoholic) it can be extremely difficult to overcome, even impossible. BOTH my grandfathers were severaly alcoholic, in fact it killed them both. My father had times when he struggled with it as a young man but eventually stopped drinking altogether. I KNOW in my bones that if I allowed myself to do much drinking at all, I could easily become dependant.
