I wish someone would come out with a totally electric small pickup truck that had about a 200 mile range on a charge. I would snap 2 up right away.

We use 2 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 trucks with 4 cyl engines and manual trannies. I drive one and consistantly get 23MPG and if I REALLY try hard I get 25 MPG. I get about 430-460 miles from a tank of gas. That will last me just about a week.

The prices are affecting my business because my co-worker that drives the other truck cannot get more than 17 MPG with his driving style. So eats up 2-3 tanks a week to my 1-2 a week.

I was talking to a guy at my sons school that owns a pool company and his gas prices are in the $7500 a month range. I stopped crying the blues after that.

I still want an electric pickup truck for local runs. I wish one existed.
