I remembered another. Not quite as exciting as some of your stories, but scary for me.

I was going to lunch in my old '88 targa with a work buddy who'd not ridden in the car before and I was getting ready to sell the car so I wanted to show him some fun. I turned onto a 4 lane road with no other cars in my lanes, so I stabbed it and ran in up to 110. Right about that I time I see a bunch of cars in the opposite lanes complete with a city cop in an SUV. Fortunately the cop was boxed in. I wasn't sure what to do, at first I started to let off, but then thought that it might be better (in this case) to keep in it. I knew that he was boxed in and I was coming to a bend in the road with a place to pull in around the corner. I stayed in it and just before I rounded the corner saw the cop parting the pack and making the U-turn. I rounded the corner and swung into the parking lot. We went into one of the restaurants. While we were eating I saw a police car and a police motorcycle drive through the parking lot and another car or two drive by. I never drove to lunch again, and like I said, sold the car a couple of weeks later.
