Took the p-car out for a spin on local roads the other day. averaging about 60 in a 35, really nice twisty turny vt roads with no cars on them. after about an hour tooling about, i bring it home at the same approx. speeds until I start hearing a clicking sound. worried about my new wheel bearings, i slow to 5 below the limit, and listen intently. just then the first car i'd seen on the whole trip passes me in the direction. a red ford explorer. with lights behind the grille. that night talking with a few friends, turns out that was in fact a cop that pulled my buddy over the same day.
btw, the wheel clicking was a stone i picked up in a tread... that was a good day!
