LOL over this one. too damn funny.
best one was i was leaving for hawaii one nice hot humid miserable august sat. for hawaii.
we were running very late, like really late for a comedy of reasons. had like a 6:10am flight.
got caught up in early morning traffic on tatum blvd going thru paradise valley. traffic cleared and i nailed it hard. was doing about 85 in a 45. next thing i know, officer has cherries on. pull over and as per law state " i have a CCW lic. and a CCW weapon in vehicle." produce drivers lic./reg/proof insurance etc. officer asks " why in such a hurry?" i explained we were really really late for the only flight to hawaii this week(no joke back then) and i will be cooked if i miss it. he stated " get outta here and slam some mai-tai's for him when we get there!"
thought that was really really cool. we literally were the last ones to board the flight!
that was before i owned this porsche and taken it to the track.
now i drive like a GRANDMA! well for the most part anyway excluding new vettes that like to be eaten by a 20 yr old p-car in the twisties!
