I'd buy a Boxster S in a heartbeat over the 996. The Boxster has come up on almost every yearly top 10 sportscars for almost a decade. It's a true drivers car. The 996 seems to be a great commuter or highway driver, but I'd rather have a car that gives more driving pleasure.
