I'd also go for the 996 over the Boxster. I've gotten used to the looks now, and the whole water-cooled vs. air-cooled debate seems to have grown into a moot point. All one needs to do to these cars, it seems, is lighten/gut them for more performance - that is if they want to go to that extreme.
