Hardflex is right.

This is not new. This is the result that Ronald Reagan supported and that Bush1 supported, and now Junior... Their money comes from large corporations that need an underclass of workers with low education and expectations. While they are cooking up that new underclass in the poorer parts of America, workers from South of the border are esssential.

Democrats also get their money from corporations that need 'illegals.' So there really isn't a party that has a reason to resist amnesty.

I'm not one of those people who think 'illegals' are the greatest threat to America. I have more than a few friends whose businesses rely on workers who arent' citizens, and a few of those workers are my friends.

But I'd support a non-hysterical dialog on the issue. It's not on the horizon because of who controls the major political parties we have now.
