Got a question for those who have driven both a 3.4 996 and a late model M3....

Here is my scenario....

-Single father who has his 4.5 yr old over 50% of the time
-have a dedicated DE 911 already
-car will be daily driver
-prices are comparible so not really a factor
-gas is gas, pass the nuts

what would you buy?
what are your thoughts about maintenance costs?
