Ditto. A while back, I turned on my set and saw the cable was out. I called the company and scheduled a service call, then decided to watch the stuff I'd recorded but never gotten around to watching. I discovered that the cable had been out for over a MONTH - I hadn't noticed because I hadn't turned the set on in that time. I called the company back and canceled the service, then donated my TV and ancillaries to Goodwill.
In the space where the entertainment center was, I've now put a computer desk with a dock for my laptop, attached to 2.1 speakers, cordless keyboard/mouse, and widescreen LCD monitor.
