Going to that protest was a bit ballsy, but I wouldn't call the Mexican an idiot. I didn't listen to the whole thing, but nothing that I saw or heard indicated that he was illegal. He could have been a US citizen.

What was worst to me was the way the people assumed so much and were so quick to resort to name calling and physical or verbal threats. It definitely, to me, made the protesters look like the biggest idiots.

In general, I think the average public is stupid, but I suppose everyone has their place in the world.
