I'm of the opinion that it's a great introduction, and sets the record straight as to who you are, and what you are about.
The 928 section isn't nearly as popular, or well viewed, as the 911 section (which has its own separate engine rebuilding section). That being said, I'm here because one day, I'm going to find the right 928 to add to my stable (it's a one car and one truck stable right now - darn those cute kids of mine eating up all my extra cash).
I owe much of my knowledge on 911 to reading books, asking questions, working with fellow PCA enthusiast, and Wayne’s knowledge and love of Porsche’s via Pelican. I hang out in 928 forum to keep learning.
In my opinion, the more enthusiast, the merrier. Welcome to Pelican.
