This is not quite true. Maybe all *not very valuable* cars are worth more parted. For many cars, there is no meaningful market for the parts.
If you took a $1 million dollar Hemi 'cuda and parted it out, you'd probably get about 5 cents on the dollar. Other cars that have actual value would be similar. 911SCs don't fall in that category unfortunately.
