Do you guys (and gals) have one particular Porsche that you've had for a long time and you just couldn't bear to part with it?
Or do you keep a car for a few years, sell it when you get bored or when a different one (older, newer, faster, whatever) catches your eye?
The reason I'm asking:
I've got a lightly modified '84 911 that I love dearly, but I don't drive it very much (mainly to autocrosses).
I was thinking about a Boxster, which I would be more likely to drive around town, take on trips, etc., since it has proper heat, A/C, isn't as loud, and has a better ride, all of which would be more palatable to the wife.
But there is NO WAY I'd love any Boxster as much as I love my 911.
I bought her in '04.
