stock 1982 911SC 3.0 liter engine, I might be tearing into the engine for head stud issues so while it's out/apart I'm thinking of putting some SSI exhaust manifolds on it. Possible a 20/21 or 934 cam.

My rear valance already has dual exhaust cut outs in it, but my present stock muffler is a stock single exhaust (I believe).

I'm not looking for loud and obnoxious, and have also read up on the drone and noise level that dual output M&K's produce.

Is the drone a dual output charectoristic? I know twin prop airplane definately warble in and out of harmonic tone.

I'm thinking a Dansk might do the trick. The cat converter also has a crack in it so most likely that will get replaced by a straight pipe as I don't have emissions. I don't want a loud car alarm triggering race type exhaust, I'm 95% street use, and want to maximize power without the noise.

Is this too much to ask?
