"Elvis" came through yesterday coming from Ely, Minnesota (Boundary Waters fire where it has started raining) headed to Florida for their fun in the sun fires. The things lifts 2,500 gallons at a crack, has a total lifting capacity of 25,000 pounds and makes more noise than any chopper I've yet heard.
I found it odd that both of the pilots smoked cigarettes but thought the chopper to be the definition of form following function...that and it's clearly a boy helicopter.
