WOW, I can't believe it costs ~$8k for a rub-back and fresh coat of paint! Not even a color change?!? WTF?
These Porsche body shops really see you coming a mile away don't they?
I would expect to pay $4-5k for a fresh coat.
I'll get a quote from a Porsche body shop and then a quote from a "normal" body shop and then go back to the Porsche shop and ask them to justify where the extra few $K is going. My guess is it's all P-tax
