I love the canons, but I got one of the Elphs that use the rechargeable lithium battery. That battery lasts much long than AA batteries and recharges in about an hour. Will take about 100-140 pictures between charges. My last camera took AA batteries and it was a PIA to remember to have extra batteries. Oh and forget the sony, SD cards are the way to go.
