OK, the search showed that SLR does not have live preview on the LCD. That would suck.
My wife does have a nice old Rebel 35mm that I got her years ago and I bought her a few nice lens' as well so it would be nice to be able to use those. The Canon Powershot stuff looks like it might be a nice fit.
