My dad was a pocket watch guy. He was born in 1908. Football lineman, center, in the era of leather helmets...you get the drill. Back in his young days, any male wearing a wrist watch was considered to be "light in the loafers". My dad drove Buick Roadmasters, carried Waltham pocket watches. I still have his old watch...14K gold, Waltham. I'll keep it, not use it, forever. End of story.
Next up here? Some folks bragging about their Rolex wrist watches. All of it is about image, right????
