I did the mod a couple of months back. Here are the two biggest obstacles. First, the nuts that attach the stock cooler to the brass hardlines are a pain the neck to get out. Soak them in penetrating oil for a day or two and then when ready to remove heat them is possible with a propane torch. They were still tight but manageable.
Next, the horns will have to be moved forward and bracketed upside down. This is shown in the PP tech article on this website.
Other than that it's pretty straightforward. Hope this helps.
