When the oil is cold it will show 4.5 - 5 at idle, mine drops to 1.5 bar at idle when the oil is hot - (after 15 kms, ambient temp is 30 degrees celcius, 10w 40 oil). When the ambient temp drops to 0 - 5 degrees celcius then it take hard driving for 20+ kilometers before the pressure will drop to 1.5 bar at idle. Thicker oil (20w 50) gave me approx 2 bar under the same conditions.
