Hi B D,

I have gone over that switch dozens of times. I've fixed it in the past and am very familiar with the switch itself. That is why I am so confused. The switch will activate the control valve 100% of the time when I am coming out of gear. 0% of the time when I am going into gear. switch contacts are operating the same in both situations and thats why I believe there has to be another element here somewhere. I learned about a second brown/white wire that comes from a "bypass switch" located above the reverse light switch on the tranny. Are you familiar with this? It make sense since there 2 brown/whites and 1 blue/yellow going into the solenoid of the control valve.
