One last question. On a scale of 1 to 10, how pissed is my wife going to be when I come with a new toy?
They sound like an angry swarm of mosquitoes played over a loud speaker. It will depend on the park.

In this video, are race trucks, far lighter and with more powerfull motors then what is for sale here, but will give you the idea of the sound. For reference, his T-maxx is probably about 10lb's with the stock wheels and tires pictured, the trucks in this video are in the 6-8lb range, with probably about twice the power.

Dug up a video someone took back when I was racing, everything is stock or modded T-maxx, except for the Orange one in front, which is electric.

I want to get back into it, but want to put the 944s in good shape first. In that video, I was racing a bone stock out of the box E-maxx with stock tires, cheap batteries. I had just gotten into it, and I guess I was a good driver, as I had lots of people come by trying to see what I'd done to make the thing so fast. I didn't even have tires suited for the track...

I would run sports car bodies - always could tell my truck out there, Porsche GT1, Mclaren F1, TVR, Ferrari, whatever.
