Someone over here has worked out why us Brit's have a reputation for drinking 'warm' beer. It isn't actually warm, just not icy cold which adds to the flavor. It works with a lot of the domestic micro-brews too.
But I have to agree, this is a fine beer. A real traditional stout.

Thx, yes, both the Guiness Extra Stout and the Young's DC Stout are both better when cool than they are when ice cold.

I'm guessing that most folks drink beer when icy cold to mask the flavor of bad beer.
