I did a partial drop a few summer's ago and it was easy. I used Wayne's "101 Projects" book and didn't remove the engine completely, but loosened the tranny to engine bolts, and was able to replace the rear shocks, sound pad, motor mounts and bracket, all fuel and vacuum lines and a bunch of CIS parts, as well as fix the oil leaks from the thermostat, breather, etc... A partial engine drop is so easy that even I can do it!
