)I've owned a few too. My first was a '56 Chevy Nomad wagon, bought it in 1967 for $350! I was 18yrs old, wow, it was fun! a real California Car, many days at the beach.
)Second, was a '67 Corvette, 427 High Perf., 4 speed, coupe. Bought it in 1970, after returning from Viet Nam for $3250. Did some upgrades such as Sig Erson cam, Holley 780, electric fuel pump, Dual Point distributor, and CDI ingintion. That car was awesome, what acceleration!
)Third, was a '68 Triumph TR250, bought in 1973. Made only in 1968, actually was a TR4IRS with the future TR6 engine. Those little cars hauled ass! light with a lot of torque. I know it could wipped my '87 in a drag race up to about 80 to 90 mph.
)I still own an '84 Corvette. Keep it in super condition, done some mod's like chip, headers, bored out trottle bodies, and head/port work. It can annilate my'87 in acceleration and top speed, and most other stock '84 - '95 Vettes.
It's too bad I didn't keep the Nomad or '67 Vette. Together they would probably be worth as much as a new 996 or excellent 993 Turbo S!
