I have one of those electrically charged tennis racquet style swatters. They actually explode on contact, it's great
But in all seriousness, it works great as you don't need them to actually land for the kill. It doesn't take long to thin the herd. After a while you lament their absence
Oh, and no mess, just a fried carcass.
