My sentiments exactly. As I was viewing the pictures in the 27k mile Targa, I couldn't help but think, "why?" There are so many other options out there that allow you to retain the original look (e.g., Rennshift, Seine shifter, etc.), the Hargett unit is definitely not for someone who wants to retain a semblance of originality.

Also, I agree with JP911 about the e-brake. The positioning of the shifter over the e-brake seems to make using the e-brake VERY difficult.
