Without engine problems, I don't see it fetching more than $9000. That's a lot of miles. I think you can get a junkyard engine for around $3000. Add $750 for a transmission. Then, labor and materials. I wouldn't give more than $4000, and even then I'd be thinking twice.

FWIW, I recently paid $11k for a 96 with 94500 miles. Everything except suspension is great.
