About a year ago I switched from Earthlink DSL to Road Runner cable via Time Warner. For an additional $5 per month, my speed went from 1.5 Mbs down 128 Kbs up with DSL to 15.0 Mbs down 2.0 Mbs up with cable. The cable is proving to more reliable as well.
