Porsche Crest Squeaky Suspension

Hi

I have a 1998 Red 996 which has done 126000 miles. Recently its developed a squeak at the drivers front corner which to be honest is more like a creak when you lean and push down on the wing.

I checked google and bushes seemed to be the main issue so I thought I'd spray WD40 on the bushes one by one to see if I could identify the culprit. Having done that the squeaking is a little better but still not right so I thought Id try the suspension spring and strut to see if there was any movement. The sping at the top of the shock is moving slightly, certainly on the other side of the car there is no movement at all.

Has anyone got any experience of this issue? Is it the bushes? or is the spring at fault? or should I take it to the garage and leave my wallet with them again:-) (please no more!!)

Any help would be appreicated.

Thanks

Andrew
