cylinder stud ?
engine rebuild time!
engine froze up over the winter.
luckily only one p+c was damaged.
already found a replacement (thanks tom b).
now the ultimate question.
i am using our hosts book to guide my rebuild.
he's pretty adamant about putting in case savers during a rebuild.
my studs look great, no piulling at all.
engine (72 E) has about 100K may have had a top end rebuild in the past.
should i pull the studs and have the case savers installed?
or just leave well enough alone?
i don't plan any wild mods just a stock rebuild.
advice and opinions welcome.
