We all lost money initially but I made a lot afterwards by buying stocks that I felt would raise in value. Later on the market rebounded and I made a bundle.

Talk with someone good with taxes to reduce your taxes. I am good with airplanes, not taxes! I pay someone to do mine and for a very good reason. If you are anywhere near Tulsa (or want to work with a good guy by email) I can recommend someone.

Sorry but if you are not ready to take some risk then you will rarely make any gains! Thats just the way it is most of the time.
