I just wanted to say that I had a great time yesterday with you guys and the drive was adventurous to say the least. Pat picked a great loop and I was sorry to miss KC's little run at the end--we got separated into two groups at the end--our group took the high speed run and KC went the curvy way. Dinner was wonderful and I enjoyed getting to see Pat's new kitchen that I have heard so much about.
I think it is interesting how OT always gets into a frenzy over Pat. I have worked with Pat at our wrenching parties a few times and I have never had a conversation with him that makes me uncomfortable in any way. Do I think some of the stuff he used to post was a waste of bandwidth? Yes, and I don't agree with him on some issues but he is still a friend and a genuine car nut. I think most people would be surprised if they met him in person.
Thank you again guys for putting this together and hopefully we can do it again in the near future. Did anyone get any good pictures during the drive? I was too busy trying to keep up with Harvey and Pat to even think about getting out my camera. There was also this blue 924 that was either right behind or in front of me that just wouldn't go away--guy was crazy driving a 924 like that
