A-holes are A-holes and he seems to be connected with Eli somehow and I would end up the looser in any confrontation I started with him.

Pat proved that for all of us. So now I just snicker and giggle at his trolling attempts to start a fight and move on.

So based on my experience with PPOT Noah will go out of his way to instigate a confrontation just like Pat would. The difference is Noah is a mod and Pat is not.
Jim,

If you and several people feel this way about ANY Moderator on ANY forum, please see the head of the BBS, who in this case is Wayne. Just because a person is nomimated to be a Moderator does not mean that they are always correct, as we have seen on this forum from time to time.

While I totally agree with you that Pat may be the nicest thing in person and probably is a nice guy 99% of the time, he broke the rules enough to get Wayne and several moderators (not to mention quite a few list members) perturbed at him. He likes to post things that can be very "interesting" to say the least and many times it ends up being a fur-ball.

The thread where this all transpired has been removed from the BBS the last time I looked but, when I read it there was no doubt that Pat was baiting Noah and anyone else who would raise to the occasion. When someone baits another person (especially a Moderator) and the other person responds, then I find it difficult to call it "instigating a confrontation" but we are all different people and see things in different ways.

Glad you guys had a good time and if I lived closer I would have loved to joined and would have engaged Pat in debate over a adult beverage. Those steaks sure looked good but dammit someone needs to teach Pat that cooking with charcoal is the only way to do a BBQ IMHO!
