Growing up on a sandbar always made a live aboard an option if I wanted. I figured that a used tug was best bang for the buck and provided the best living space. Electrics and mechanicals are easily accessible. I could even run it around the Caribbean with confidence it could handle any sea I'm in.
As far as Lake HavaZoo... it would be easy to create a trick mattress room w/ ladders and ropes. I'd even have the fire hose attached to a keg of beer. Any female venturing aboard would have clothes off in 15 minutes. It wouldn't be as good as having a trick ocean sailboat racer in Newport but it would be good enough imo.
Otherwise... the center rig is a 29' Fountain. I spent a weekend on it at Lake HavaZoo.
It may be the nicest boat on the Lake for its size and the girls love it.
