Seems strange to me that any symbol from the civil war, on the southen side seems to have a negative reaction.
As a social experiment, I place a battle flag plate on the front of a big 'ol dodge truck I had. I was met with alot of comments. From some people, I was yelled at and told I should have to attone for my forefathers. That is a big joke, I am only the second generation in America. My family (either side) wasn't even here during the time of slavery. I owe nobody anything.
I was cheered by some folks that I wouldn't want living next to me.
It seems funny to me that symbols of history still hold that much emotion.
Barretta, you have met me, do I seem like a racest to you? I hope not.
Our past history isn't the best, but isn't that what makes who we are today?
