Sorry, as the least reliable of all 944 due to the potential engine problems, I can't see them gaining classic status. Check the prices now; year for year 944s are less than 944. and you can now buy decent S2 for a little more money.

There's nothing really wrong with the 944S it's just that so many of them have had cylinder head problems and now with the price of parts and labor they aren't worth repairing.
