To be frank I am numb...I am only 42 and have lost both of my parents now...and I am an only child
. When Dad passed away Mum and I drew great strength from each other...we were each other's lifeline.
However, yet again I am overwhelmed by the love and support from Mum's sisters and brother and their families. I also have several very close friends who are my "sisters". I have lots of people looking out for me and I am truly blessed to have them.
Mike is taking the lion's share of the load this time for me - and the kids have not stopped hugging me since Friday. We're all in this together and together we shall make it through tomorrow and beyond.
I do now feel old beyond my years though
