There were 11 DeKon Monzas made. The pics are from IMSA at Laguna Seca in May 1980. The following cars qualified in the first and second row. They were destroyed in a first lap accident at the start of the first of two 100 mile heat races. Doane Spencer rebuilt the Monzas right here in Sun Valley in one of those no name industrial shop complexes near Glenoaks and Tuxford.
