I guess I'm mostly alone here in that I have zero issue with roaming cats. I wish we had more outdoor cats as they would help control the seasonal rodent population. Unfortunately we have another 4 legged critter, the Coyote, that keeps the cat population in check.

If you have zero issue with cats, then why do you take issue with rats and coyotes. I've never seen a pack of rats savagely attack anyone. I've seen alot of coyotes in my life; very timid around humans.
And yes you are mostly alone here.
