Noway am I bidding. This is a $4-$6k project car at most. And who know's what you'll find after chipping the bondo out of the thing... I would strongly suggest an experienced technician/enthusiast to view/PPI this car before bidding. After viewing, I have no interest in this car. I forwarded the above info to the seller encouraging him to disclose everything we "discovered" on the car when going over it but his auction show's very little effort to disclose the condition... This is my personal inspection but it was so far from what is in the auction and what we discussed on the phone that it's just plain dishonest. If I were selling a car I would say "There's Spray Foam Insulation blown into the front fender/door jam area, when you open the door you can hear it crunch!"... The "Mechanic" who said the paint was original may have well Pissed on his leg and told him it was raining...
Just take it for what it's worth and if the seller is reading this. Tell the Truth and keep your 100% feedback!
